覆核成績
優異證書(Certificate of Merit)資格

只要考生擁有最少3份試卷的4級或以上(3個大4分),即可申請Merit Certificate,跨年份亦可
-
Paper 2 Writing中,在最少3個評核項目考獲4級或以上(3個小4分),即視為全卷4級,不可跨年份(Organisation and Coherence, Grammatical and Lexical Accuracy and Range, Task Completion, Correcting Errors/Problems 及 Explaining Errors/Problems )

Paper 4 Speaking中,在最少4個評核項目考獲4級或以上(3個小4分),即視為全卷4級,不可跨年份(Part 1 Task 1A: Pronunciation, Stress and Intonation, Reading Aloud with Meaning, Grammatical and Lexical Accuracy and Range, Organisation and Cohesion, Interacting with Peers 及 Discussing Educational Matters with Peers )

優異證書(Certificate of Merit)申請方法

語文能力嘉許狀及證書全年接受申請,而分兩期辦理。在2023/24學年,於2024年1月31日或之前遞交的申請為第一期,於2024年6月28日或之前遞交的申請將撥入第二期。

申請人如能提供所有必需文件/資料,在截止日期後的三個月內,本局將會把領取證書通知書寄交申請人。
LPAT requirement for English Panel Chair
For a teacher appointed as the English Panel Chair, he/she should have attained an average proficiency at Level 4 of the English Language Proficiency Requirement (LP4) which means that he/she has met both of the following criteria:

(a) attained at least Level 3 in all the five papers in the Language Proficiency Requirement for English teachers. Specifically, he/she has to attain ‘3’ or above in Reading and Listening. For Writing, Speaking and Classroom Language Assessment (CLA), the teacher has to attain, in one sitting, ‘3’ or above in all the scales of the respective papers; AND

(b) attained at Level 4 or above for three papers at least. For Writing, Speaking and CLA, Level 4 is deemed to have been attained if more than half of the scales of the respective papers are scored, in one sitting, at ‘4’ or above (i.e. having attained Level 4 in three or more scales in Writing and CLA and four or more scales in Speaking).
達到英文科語文能力要求的準則

教師如符合下列準則,可被視為已達到英文科教師語文能力要求:
教師在 全部五卷的成績必須達到要求的水平。具體而言,在「閱讀」和「聆聽」兩卷中,教師必須達到「3等」或以上;至於「寫作」、「口語」及「課堂語言運用」三卷,教師 須在同一次評核中, 同一卷別的各個範疇均達到「3等」或以上(註)。
註:由於「寫作」、「口語」及「課堂語言運用」三卷每個範疇的成績,是兩名評核員所評定的等級的平均數,因此教師有可能獲得「2.5等」。在評定達到語文能力要求的準則下,即使其中一個範疇只達到「2.5等」,其餘範疇均達到「3等」或以上,亦可視為已達到語文能力要求。 -

評核報告
評核報告將於今年七月在考評局網址(www.hkeaa.edu.hk)及教育局網址(www.edb.gov.hk)發布。報告分析考生的表現,並說明考生表現出色的強項,以及有待改善的地方,供考生、學校及師訓機構參考。另外,評核試卷(連同聆聽評核光盤、建議答案及評核報告)將於七月發售。
